If teenager tests positive for a drug can the family services press charges?
My friend was picked up by the state cause their parent abandoned them.They tested positive for pot and other narcotics when the social worker tested them. Can the state also press charges against the teen for drugs?
The 16 year old was not on probation or any other trouble
I suppose they could but their priority for a an abandoned child is to give support and hope. Drug counseling would be part of the plan.
