Good Parenting Questions
what are good questions to ask my son’s friends parents while we meet ofr the first time?
my friend is meeting her son’s friend’s mother for the first time. she has never been through this before, so she is stuck on what to say or what to ask the parent before letting her child go over to the house.
help please?
Is her son spending the night or just hanging out?
Hanging out.
I would ask for their phone number and make sure they have yours.
I would make them aware of any allergies the child might have.
When should the parent pick up the child
I always ask if they have a dog and if the dog has ever bitten.
I would make sure that an adult is going to be in the home at all times.
I would let her know if the son isn’t allowed to say play rated M video games or what horror films. So he cannot tell her “my mom let’s me” when she doesn’t.
If the boy is spending the night. I would ask if they fire alarms and if they have checked them recently. I am paranoid with having been through a house fire and having alarms literally save my child’s life.
